My Opera Debut!

This fall, Vancouver Opera will produce the classic Strauss operetta, Die Fledermaus, to celebrate their 60th Season--with brand new dialogue written by Yours Truly. This is my first time adapting existing source material, and my first time working in the world of opera.

The production, directed by Ashlie Corcoran and conducted by Jacques Lacombe, is set in the swingin' 60's. My version contains of the cheating spouses, mistaken identity, and champagne-fuelled mayhem of the original...with a fresh new twist.
